originally from Belgium, she studied sports and subsequently taught as a grammar school teacher. At that time, she was the four-time Belgian champion in the discus event. Then she met her partner and the decision to move to Werfenweng was not a difficult one. As a lateral entrant and all-rounder, Marie-Christine now reaps the highest praise for her wonderful cooking skills.

Hubert …

grew up on the homestead “Alter Berghof”, which was already a youth centre back then. He took over its operation in 1988 and has managed it efficiently ever since with outstanding innovations. He acquired expertise in highly differing sectors in the hotel and restaurant sector at the School of Hotel Management in Salzburg, both in theory and practice. Hubert is now responsible for all hotel matters and is committed to the well-being of his satisfied guests.
