Music and Choir Camps
We provide ideal conditions for music and choir camps, brass seminars and rehearsal weekends. This is the reason why many of our guests come to us and combine intense rehearsals with leisure activities, as well as visiting interesting excursion destinations, such as Hohenwerfen Castle, Werfen’s World of the Ice Giants, Liechtenstein Gorge, Hallein Salt Mines and the city of Salzburg. Upon request, packages with additional afternoon snacks and sightseeing in the surrounding area are also offered.
Performance Opportunities
Performance opportunities are available in our music pavilion in the Freebirds barn, which is ideally suited for these activities, and in the event hall of Werfenweng. There are no additional costs. We also would be pleased to organise your music event or your concert.
Music Rehearsal Rooms
4 rooms are available for rehearsals, 1 room for individual rehearsals.
Music Pavilion for 140 People
The music pavilion is equipped with a movable partition wall (insulation 52 db) and has room for approximately 140 people. The entire room is equipped with blackout curtains. The music pavilion is equipped with:
- 1 Piano
- 1 Computer organ
- 1 Electronic piano (transportable)
- 1 Hi-fi equipment
- 1 Lighting console
- 1 Video beamer with big projection screen
Freebirds Barn
In the Freebirds Barn you can practise on 2 floors (stable and barn), whereby the “stable” is fitted with an acoustical ceiling. Floor 1 with approximately 200 m² is accessible all year round. Floor 2 with approximately 240 m² is open from May to November. From here you have a fantastic view of the Eiskogel.
